Hi, love your new blog… Here is my question: When do you introduce a blanket (including size, material and style) to your child’s crib?

My son is 18-months old and I have taken every precaution possible for sleep safety including: Putting nothing in the crib, using the best crib and hardest mattress i could find, using a breathable bumper, monitoring the room temperature between 68 – 72 degrees, and having a movement monitor under the mattress…

Heather, thanks so much for your question! We’ll pose it to our nurses as a possible topic for a future blog post.

my mom and I haven’t missed a week of IDOL this season. its awesome to here singers that can sing and the talent so many have. as the weeks have gone on and contestants have grown closer together, I find myself, at times, getting teary eyed. but the visit to the children’s hospital was the most moving yet. —- for I too am one who lives for the music cause the music lives in me. MUSIC IS MY HIGHER POWER!!! AND as long as I have brain waves I will never be alone, till the day I die. I listen and love all genres, all the way from doo op of the ’50′s clear to the new songs of today. over the last 38 years I’ve used music for healing, counseling, guidance, to celebrate good times and to make it through hard times.—- and to learn that there are actual medical facilities that believe in music therapy, as i do, makes my HEART burst with happiness. so I just wanted to THANK YOU!
