When our pediatrician, who I also work for, came to me with Dr. Alan Lewis’ name we we hopeful and excited. We made our appointment. And, after a visit with him, he took my son off the meds right away and explained that, in the future, he may need them, but not now.

I urge everyone to please donate blood. Fifteen minutes of your time can save someone’s life.
Now I can proudly say “I am a Children’s Hospital Los Angeles blood donor.”

From the begining of our children’s births, we knew we had to be positive and that everything happens for a reason. We ended up at Children’s Hospital for a reason. And we met some of the most amazing people. All the NICCU Doctors were awesome and we got to know some of them personally. I guess 6 months with someone … you get to know them.
The nurses and nurse practitioners – all I can say is AWESOME. We got to joke with them and when we had a bad day, they where there to cheer us up. Not only were they caregivers to our son, but also our friends. The front desk, the cleaning ladies … everyone in 3 West are the best.
