My First Blood Donation

I donated blood today for the first time, and it was the opposite of what I expected.

I expected a lot of:

• Pain
• Dizziness
• Weakness

It was the total opposite. 

Everyone was so kind and IT DID NOT HURT A BIT!!  It only took 15 minutes. Yeah that easy.

I urge everyone to please donate blood. Fifteen minutes of your time can save someone’s life.

Now I can proudly say “I am a Children’s Hospital Los Angeles blood donor.”
