The universe is a funny place .. but for this life-threatening birth defect, I would have never known just how badly I wanted my little girl.
Just in case you are wondering, Julia is home and doing great. Its like it never happened—at least for her. She will have a great story to tell her friends when she grows up and a small scar to prove its true.
